Annis N. Krout, 99, formerly of Bangor, PA, passed away Saturday, December 6th, at Country Meadows, Bethlehem, PA.
Annis was born in Mt. Wolf, PA on November 27, 1915, a daughter of the late Matthis and Laura (Hackney) Livingston.
She was the widow of Roy J. Krout, who passed away in 2012.
She was a member of the First United Evangelical Congregational Church in Bangor, PA.
Annis is survived by a daughter, Kathryn Gist and her husband James, of East Bangor, PA; two sons, Karl T. Krout and his wife Patricia, of Saylorsburg, PA and Michael Krout and his wife Patricia, of Sinking Springs, PA; a sister, Phyllis Spiese, of York, PA, two grandchildren Mark Krout and his wife Amy, and Dr. Ryan Krout and his wife Leone, a great granddaughter Samantha Krout and 2 step great grandchildren Amanda and Arthur Cahill. She was preceded in death by one sister Lois Biesecker and seven brothers Jesse, Ezra, Paul, David, James, Carl and Glenn Livingston.
Services are private at the convenience of family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, Martins Creek, PA.

Craig A. Kunsman
Craig A. Kunsman, 57, of Bangor, PA, passed away Sunday, November 9th, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA.
Craig was born in Easton, PA, on February 6, 1957, a son of Frances P. (Werkheiser) Kunsman, of Bangor, PA and the late Edward E. Kunsman.
He was a co-owner and operator of Edward Kunsman & Sons Roofing in Bangor, PA. Craig attended Wilson High School.
Craig was a lifetime member of the Order of Fleas Club in Easton and a member of the Dyle L. Bray VFW Post 739 in Bangor.
In addition to his mother, Frances, Craig is survived by two brothers, Kim Kunsman and Todd Kunsman, 2 nieces Susan Kunsman Reinhart and Gina Marie Kunsman, 5 nephews Jamie, Ryan, Nicholas, Zachary, and Kodie Kunsman, a great niece Alyson Kunsman and a great nephew Jacob Kunsman. Craig was preceded in death by his father Edward and brother Robin Kunsman.
Services will be held at the James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, 6602 Alpha Ave., Martins Creek, PA, at 11 AM on Friday, November 14th. Friends are invited to call Thursday 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private at convenience of the family at the Northampton Memorial Shrine.

Mary Phyllis O'Malley
Mary Phyllis O'Malley, 96, formerly of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away Thursday, October 30th, at Kirkland Village, Bethlehem, PA.
Mary was born in Shirley, MA on September 17, 1918, a daughter of the late Edward and Gertrude (McNally) Harkins. She was the widow of Raymond J. O'Malley, who died in 2009. Mary was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was a member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Virginia Beach, VA .
Mary is survived by two daughters, Margaret Goodrich and Marilyn Tuori and her husband Charles,
a son, James O'Malley and his wife Carol, 6 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Maureen Cross and one granddaughter.

Amelia F. Ruggiero
Amelia F. Ruggiero, 80, of Martins Creek, PA died Wednesday,
October 08, 2014 at her residence surrounded by family.
Born in Martins Creek, PA on August 2, 1934, she was the
daughter of the late Carmelo Antonino Cappadona and Josephine E. (Castelletti)
Cappadona.
She, together with her late husband Daniel Ruggiero, owned
and operated Martins Creek Manufacturing Co., retiring in 1977.
She was a member of St. Rocco’s Roman Catholic Church,
Martins Creek, PA and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and Church
Choir.
A loving mother and grandmother, Amelia loved to bake, keep
a clean house and cross stich.
She is survived by a son Michael A. Ruggiero, and his wife
Kimberly, of Forks Twp., Sisters, Lillian Pulcini and Virginia Ann Falcone,
both of Martins Creek, and Mary Sheetz, of Easton. Granddaughter, Kate Ruggiero and many nieces
and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Teresa.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 9:45 AM at the
James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, 6602 Alpha Ave., Martins Creek, PA followed by a
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rocco’s Church at 10:30AM. Friends may call on Friday 7:00 to 8:30 PM at
the funeral home. Interment will be in
Church Hill Cemetery.

Calogera "Lilly" Mule`
Calogera "Lilly" Mule`, 80, of Bangor, PA, passed away Saturday, September 20th, surrounded by her loving family at the home of her daughter in Columbia, MD.
Born: Lilly was born in Sommatino, Sicily, Italy on March 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Guiseppe and Crocifissa (Volpe) Curto.
Personal: She was the widow of Francesco "Frank" Mule`, who died in 2003. Lilly and her late husband Frank, were the owners and operator of five successful restaurants, Franco's Pizzeria Nescopeck, PA., Franco's Pizzeria, Ocean City, NJ, Franco's Pizzeria in White Haven, PA, the former Olde and New Inn in Stockertown, PA and Frank's Steak Shop in Easton. Lilly enjoyed cooking and baking her famous Italian cookies for her friends and family.
Memberships: She was a member of St. Rocco's Roman Catholic Church in Martins Creek, PA.
Survivors: Lilly is survived by two daughters, Maria Kelly, and her husband Bruce, of Columbia, MD;
Christine Holva, and her husband Jim, of Bangor, PA; two sons, Mario Mule`, of Syracuse, NY; Joseph Mule` and his wife Sandy, of Berwick, PA; two sisters, Giovanna Curto Verdi, of Catania, Sicily; Maria Evans and her husband Robert, of South Casco, ME; a brother, Croce Peter Curto and his wife Sara of Nazareth, PA, 10 grandchildren, Megan, Lauren, Sarah, Frank, Nathan, Jim, Kaitlyn, Claire, Joseph, and Mackenzie, and 3 great grandchildren Ava, Kenlyn, and Luca.

Jean Lechiski, 85, of Martins Creek, PA, formerly of Florida, passed away Monday, September 22nd, at Alexandria Manor, Nazareth, PA.
Born: Jean was born in Glen Garden, NJ on January 28, 1929, a daughter of the late William J. and Anna R. (Ort) Cougle.
Personal: Jean was the widow of Walter S. Lechiski, who died in 2000. She was employed as a unit clerk and nurse at Homestead Hospital in Homestead, FL, until retiring in 1994. After retiring, Jean, volunteered at the hospital gift shop. Jean spent her life caring for others as a nurse, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Memberships: Jean was a member of the Senior Citizens group in Homestead, FL.
Survivors: Jean is survived by a daughter, Eileen Sentz and her husband Roger, two sons, Walter Lechiski and his wife Connie, and Edward Lechiski, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Timothy L. "Tim" Fortner
Timothy L. "Tim" Fortner, 62, of Bangor, PA, passed away Wednesday, September 17th, at Easton Hospital, Easton, PA.
Born: Timothy was born at Ft. Jackson Army Base in Columbia, SC on April 1, 1952, a son of the late Reuben Fortner and Jeanne (Nolf) Gumm and her husband Tom, of Bangor, PA.
Personal: Tim was the husband of Jean (Burdge) Fortner. He was a 1970 graduate of Easton High School and he attended Penn State University, majoring in Forestry. He was employed as a Ski Patrol director at Camelback Mountain Resort in Mt. Pocono, PA, until retiring in January 2013. Tim was also a certified pool operator for CamelBeach Water Park.
Memberships: Tim was a member of the National Ski Patrol, since 1968. He was issued his National number in 1996. Tim was also a previous member of Marshall's Creek Fire Department, Central Pocono Ambulance and Bushkill Emergency Squad. He served in the Army National Guard from 1972-1980 as a Staff Sargent.
Survivors: In addition to his wife Jean, mother Jeanne and step father Tom, Tim is survived by three daughters, Rebecca Fortner, of East Stroudsburg, PA; Melissa Silvent, of Bartonsville, PA; Sara Fratrik and her husband Frank, of Port Deposit, MD; two sons, Ronnie Silvent, of Bangor, PA; Lantz Fortner, of Manahawkin, NJ; a sister, Kim, wife of Ray Bowers, of Walnutport, PA, mother in law Elsie Burdge of Hackettstown, NJ, 4 grandchildren Micah Fortner, Emily and Samantha Fratrik, and Kaylee Andersen, nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by two sons Bryan and Corey Fortner, a daughter Lisa Silvent and a brother Richard Fortner.
