Christie Leigh Benner, 24, of Lower Mount Bethel Twp, passed away Saturday, February 22nd, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Born: December 7, 1989 in Bethlehem, PA, she was a daughter of Charles D. Benner, of Bangor, and Louise (Moore) Benner, of Lower Mount Bethel Twp, with whom she resided.
Personal: She was a 2008 graduate of Bangor Area High School and attended Northampton Community College. Christie was a certified phlebotomist and Certified Nursing Assistant who found great joy in caring for the elderly. Christie lived her life to the fullest finding enjoyment in everything, but her most treasured moments were while fishing and spending time with her family.
Memberships: Christie attended Bethel Bible Church in Martins Creek, PA
Survivors: In addition to her parents, Christie is survived by two sisters; Jennifer Manning, husband Patrick & daughter Claire of Mohnton, PA, and Briana Benner of Maryville, TN.
Services: Thursday, February 27 at 11:00am at the James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, 6602 Alpha Avenue, Martins Creek, PA. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:00pm, and Thursday from 9:30 until the time of service. Burial will be in Church Hill Cemetery.
