Gary Lorn Wilson, 64, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August
3, 2014 while vacationing with his family in Willsboro NY.
Gary was born in Cleveland, OH on April 13, 1950, grew up in
Lincoln Park, MI, lived in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, and Lebanon Twp.,
NJ, before making his home in Bangor, PA.
Gary was a loving husband to Angela (Mirasolo) Wilson with
whom he recently celebrated 40 wonderful years of marriage.
He was a devoted son of Doris (Taylor) Wilson (Riverview,
MI) and the late Wilbert Bruce Wilson.
Gary was an adoring father to Gabrielle and favorite
son-in-law Brian Woodby (New Providence, NJ), and cherished "Papa" to
Nathan, Max and Bruce.
Gary was also proud father to Joseph Wilson and Amber Horn
(New Providence, NJ) and was thrilled with anticipation for the arrival of his
son's first child in February.
His childhood was enriched by his four brothers, Robert
(Gibraltar, MI), Brian (Ashland, OH), Donald (Allen Park, MI) and Kevin
(Fowlerville, MI).
Services will be held on Thursday at 7:00 PM at the James J.
Palmeri Funeral Home, 6602 Alpha Ave., Martins Creek, PA. Visitation will be
from 4:00 PM to time of services. Additional services will be held on Sunday,
August, 10th at 4:00 PM at the Voran Funeral Home, 23750 Goddard Road, Taylor,
MI. Visitation will be from noon to 4:00 PM.
Interment will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, MI.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
Angela Wilson to benefit the grandchildren's education.
