William J. "Bill" Orse

William J. "Bill" Orse, 73, of Bangor, PA, passed away Sunday, August 31st, at his residence.

Born:  Bill was born in New York City, NY on May 7, 1941, a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Nagy) Orse.

Personal:  He was the husband of Jean (Welch) Orse, they were married October 18, 1963.  Bill was employed in the maintenance department at the Northampton County Government Center Easton, PA, for 21 years, until retiring in 2001.  Bill was a 1959 graduate of Easton High School.  He enjoyed traveling, doing repairs around the house and was a avid hunter and fisherman.  He served in the US Air Force.

Memberships:  He was a member of the former College Hill Presbyterian Church in Easton, PA. Bill was also a member of Safety First Volunteer Fire Co. in West Easton.

Survivors:  In addition to his wife, Jean, Bill is survived by a daughter, Christine, a son, Mark, a sister, Nancy, a brother, Bob, and 2 grandsons Brandon and Doug.  Bill was preceded in death by a sister Pat Chillot.

Services:  Funeral services will be held at the James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, www.palmerifuneralhome.com, 6602 Alpha Ave., Martins Creek, PA, at 11 AM on Thursday, September 4th,  with Pastor Ronald Shipman officiating. Friends are invited to call Thursday 9:30 - 11 AM in the funeral home.  Burial will be held at Church Hill Cemetery, Martins Creek, PA.
