John J. Diomedo

John J. Diomedo, 84, of  Easton, PA, passed away Friday, April 25th, at Old Orchard Manorcare, Easton.  He was the husband of Patricia  (Coleman) Diomedo, with whom he was married for 62 years.

Born:  John was born in Martins Creek, PA on September 15, 1929, a son of the late Adam and Mary (Sabatine) Domine.

Personal:  He served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean War.  John was also a member of the Marine Corp. League and flew the Marine Corp. flag behind his home proudly.  John worked on the family farm, Sunny Brook Farms, for many years. He was later employed at Ingersoll-Rand Corp. in Phillipsburg, NJ, for 20 years.  For many years he work part time for Palmeri and Sons Company in Martins Creek, driving water trucks, school buses and the bingo buses.  John was best known for his lively personality and sense of humor, he was an avid collector of antique International farm tractors.

Survivors:  In addition to his wife, Patricia, John is survived by two sons Johnny Wayne Diomedo and his wife Dottie, of Easton and Gregory Diomedo and his wife Alice, of Bangor; a sister, Dorothy Homoki, of Nazareth; a Sister in Law Jeannie Diomedo, of Easton; 4 Grandchildren, Chad and his wife Blanca, Matthew, Larry and his wife Norika and Denise and her husband Rich, and 6 Great Grandchildren Kayla, Jack, Sam, Kaitlyn, Ashland, and Noah.  John was preceded in death by two brothers Alfred and Adam Diomedo.

Services:  Memorial Services will be held at the James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, 6602 Alpha Ave., Martins Creek, PA, at 8 PM on Thursday, May 1st.  Friends are invited to call 6 - 8 PM, Thursday in the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made a palmerifuneralhome.com.
